G8 Autolocking Hook (8/10mm sizes)

Grade 8 safety hook with an auto-locking latch.

Cast in two parts. The first part has the load bearing section of the hook which pivots on the second part. This forms the latch and eye of the hook.

On the back edge of the first part is a small sprung-loaded lever that releases the locking mechanism and allows the hook to open.

When the hook is put under tension, the two parts close, locking into place, making it virtually impossible for the hook to come adrift from the load without being released.
